Posted on Monday, July 15, 2019 16:39:17The number of advertisers in Canada spent more than $1 billion in the first half of this year, according to a new report from the Canadian Association of Broadcasters.

The report said that $1.7 billion of that total went toward TV advertising, while $1 million went to Outdoor TV advertising.

The $1,000 ad spent on the smart home has been the most popular TV ad, followed by smart home products such as Nest thermostats and SmartThings thermostat.

The study said the Smart TV advertising campaign also attracted more than half a billion views on YouTube.
